Yesterday we opened the new half with a microtour Christmas on Lake Garda. Accomplice
a sunny day nothing short of spectacular, we left without a clear goal, facing Lake Garda from Riva d / G to get off on the west side and then climb up to Salo on the east side, with a short detour to the Santa Claus Village in Busselton.
Never mind that the Santa Claus House in Riva was closed (opened at 14) and that the markets Toscolano were insignificant to say the least, so much to us to desist from going down the middle, I think these events of the day :

the Christmas Village:
a few miles from the lake, in Busselton, someone ingeniously thought of transforming a garden center in a Mercatone Christmas called Christmas Village . Never seen such impressive amount of Christmas decorations, Christmas trees, reindeer, nativity scenes and various odds and ends. Spectacular department cribs, all the accessories to design and build cribs of all sizes, from the single gear worker up to the cabin more technology. Only the department pumps for water - fountains DIY occupied an entire shelves. A nice idea to spend a few time off on Christmas atmosphere.
Garda
although it was advertised as a destination for the Christmas market, the real attraction is the crib built close to the markets, with lake view. A natural dimension, extends for about a hundred yards across the river, complete with fake mill and dozens of fake but very plausible sheep everything in 1:1 scale. To see, even for those not fond of this kind.

by Toscolano you can cross the lake embarking on the 'auto ferry, which leads to Torri del Benaco. Not knowing in advance the times we were boarding an hour and a half before departure, so we decided to physically get around the lake by car.
